The following shows aired on WHEN-620 in Syracuse, NY during early 1996 until about the middle of the year. The station changed ownership and the show was cancelled. Please be aware that the contest mentioned in the shows is no longer running. Only a single show is available now. Additional shows will be added as I find the check tapes.
Online Radio show #7 (about 25 min)
The following sound clips are from "Boogaloo Brucie and the Barflies". They used to be a for-fun band at WHEN radio in Syracuse, NY in the 70's and 80's. Some of the music used at the station was produced in-house. These tunes ACTUALLY MADE IT TO AIR. By today's standards they're probably pretty tame. When they aired they were rather "cutting edge". If anyone has collected additional tunes from off-air I would be interested in a copy to add to the collection although it looks like this is the entire Boogaloo Brucie library.
